My ancestors were animists. They understood the connectivity between the seemingly separate aspects of the precious world around us, from the sun that warms the seeds in the soil which grow into a diverse range of herbs, flowers and plants, the plants in all degrees of growth that drink from the banks of the river, to the river itself, filled by living rain - and the stones which tumble through its meandering drifts and passages. There is nothing that is without life, without meaning. I too understand this, and believe it to be true. All formulas and medicines herein are crafted directly from the earth, made possible by the generosity of a divine energy that we humans call by many names. Regardless of what title we may offer this energy, the truth remains: we do not own these medicines. The people of my ancestry, as well as indigenous populations the world over, have known that to share in healing where it is possible is a sacred responsibility.

Should you find that you do not have the funds to afford what is here but deeply feel that you would benefit from them, I hold to the right and duty, handed down by my ancestors and plantcestors, to support in the healing of others in whatever capacity I can.
